TALK: 'ON THE FRONT LINE' @ THE ROYAL GEOGRAPHICAL SOCIETY

6th June 2019. 6.30pm - 10pm

This event promises to bring you an evening of adventure from the front line of conservation. Founder of How Many Elephants, Holly Budge, will be speaking about her conservation work and extreme fundraising from the summit of Everest! She will be joined by National Geographic Explorer, Niall McCann and Beks Ndlovu, Professional Guide and Founder of African Bush Camps, both doing valuable work on the front line.

For our VIP ticket holders, there will be pink champagne, kindly sponsored by Waud Wines, served with artisan canapes in the iconic Map Room. There will be ample opportunity to mingle with the speakers. Don’t delay as these tickets are limited.

Headline Sponsor: African Bush Camps.

WILD NIGHT OUT 2019

June 29th 2019

FOR ONE NIGHT – AND DAY – EACH YEAR, WE ARE ENCOURAGING YOU TO GET OUTDOORS WITH YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY AND LOVED ONES

Join world record adventurer and conservationist Holly Budge for a ‘Wild Night Out on the South Downs’. Worryingly, research shows that one in nine children in England have not been to a natural environment in the past 12 months. The fresh air has incredible health benefits. We will kick off the day at midday with an optional walk from Alresford to the idyllic campsite setting at Holden Farm Camping in Cheriton (approx. 5 miles). And when darkness falls, the fun can continue with a night out under the stars, with storytellers sharing their tales of adventure round the campfire amongst the strumming of guitar strings.

Activities will include toasting marshmallows and bird spotting in the glorious rolling hills of the South Downs. All you need to bring is a tent, food and refreshments. There are fantastic facilities onsite including hot showers, toilets and a washing up area.
